So the other day I had Monty, our little mojave, out and about for some handling and to show a few friends of ours. He's a total trooper, never gets stressed over it and I've managed to get a few people who weren't partial to snakes to admit he's adorable![]()
Anyway, after most of them had left and I was sitting in the living room with Chris I started talking about all the surprise poop stories I'd heard about with snakes taking a dump on the bed, on friends, etc. Meanwhile, Monty crawls into my coat sleeve (it's his favorite exploring place aside from bras) and sits for a while. I had just told Chris how happy I was I hadn't had to deal with it yet, and then I felt this cold wet feeling on my wrist. Monty slithers rather relaxed out onto my lap, and left a HUGE present right inside my coat all over from the middle of my forearm to the bottom of my palmI about died
No harm after some rinsing and odor control, but man I couldn't stop laughing all day. Better stop talking about bad behavior around them! They might learn a thing or two![]()
