anyone using lab cages and a watering system?

Getting back into mice (unfortunately) and need to figure out a way around water bottles with the use of lab cages.

so run main line on the upper shelf and run long legs off the main to the valve via a Tee? No issues or fatigue with constantly moving the black flex line?

What did you run your groups in the small commercial tubs?

I am using these lab tubs. I got them from Big Apple Herp., and nothing against them personally because they didn't invent the design, but I had many escapes. http://www.bigappleherp.com/Big-Apple-Rodent-Cages The left and right corner isn't tight enough and I had to modify all of them.

I have some old units that the lid completely sits down in a lip and the weight of the lid and food hold it in place. I tested one with a small rat and I am confident an adult mouse won't be pushing out if the rat couldn't.

ummmm....shhhh. They were super cheap. I will make them work just because of that reason. I am not a mouse breeder. I hate mice. But people are making breed them to get their business. Times, they be tough my friend.

that's one jump I have not made yet... mouse racks.
I would love to use a watering system on my mouse tubs, but I have the same reservations... How much stress can they take being moved all the time?
I have 70 mouse lab cages, and I hate bottles....
My mice always get moved on the back burner, but I need to build a good rack, anyone have any good designs?
Most of my cages are the same style, and I was thinking of just using my tubs and building a rack to accept them and get rid of the tops, but what a waste...
