Not breeding?
When I got my ASFs, I posted some pictures. One or two people mentioned they looked too small to breed. Well, a few weeks ago I visited the pet store I got them from, and an extra female they had kept had 6 babies and was the same size as the five (now four) I got.
They've got plenty of food, water, and space. I am feeding them what I feed my Norway rats (minus a yogurt and bug concoction, and whatever I have laying around), so I would figure they'd do fine on that. The girls and male are all plump and healthy, so I am not sure...
I CAN get a hog feed if that has the following nutri-facts:
14% crude protein
.75% lysine
3% crude fat
10% max crude fiber
.75% min calcium
1.25% max calcium
.50% phosphorus
.25-.75% salt
.30 PPM selenium
80 PPM zinc
.50% max sodium
I dunno if that would work for ASFs and/or male Norway rats though.
But I'm up to any other suggestions. It WOULD be awfully hard to get a new batch of ASFs in though, and at 5 bucks a pop, not sure if I'd want to do that.

This seems to be a common problem with ASF's.
When I first set up my own breeding colony I purchases some older females and a male from an already established colony from a feed shop. I had been told they had been breed before and was assured they were old enough to breed. (Minus one female that ended up being too old, they were all the correct sizes to breed.) I ended up waiting a month and a half before I got anything from them.
I think it's just the breed though, give them some time to readjust and you should start seeing results.
They may not be able to give you kisses like a dog, or purr to let you know they're happy like a cat, but they're just as heart warming as

I got them in the evening on 09-25, so that's about 8 weeks already. That the norm?

No, if 8 weeks have gone by and you still have not seen anything you should get a new group
