Nile bite (again, self explanatory)
Great men are not born, they are defined by their actions.

Back in my teens when I bred monitors I had my share of bites mainly from the same large female argus, the funny thing is they were mainly a graze and it was like puncturing an artery

Re: Worst Reptile Related Bite
An 8 foot burm latched onto my hand and tried to coil around my arm...but I got lucky and was able to brace myself against the cage wall so she couldn't get around it completely. Took 20 minutes before she finally let go. There was a surprising amount of blood involved...but once it was all cleaned up and the swelling from the initial trauma went down, you could hardly tell anything had happened.

I've been very lucky. My "Worst" was from a full grown adult Cuban Knight Anole. (I know not very exciting right?) He was always nervous about hands coming into his cage, and always went into defensive mode. I usually used a towel to get him out because he was so nuts. Well I needed to get him out to clean the cage, and I got him in a good position with my hand behind his head and most of his body secure. I thought I was all good till he nearly snapped his neck 180 degrees and shredded my thumb down quite a bit. One of his teeth went down pretty deep. Lots of blood, and a nice sized puncture in my thumb. Healed up nicely but still I've been lucky that has been my worst.
