    tub look good?

alright so i got a tub set up for a new bp im hoping to get at my next reptile show for the girlfriend who wants to "share" my hobby lol and need some of your oppinions on the complete tub set up

first off is the lid to show the size with a normal butterfinger for size comparison

this one is a side view, i havent blacked out the sides yet and doubt i will cause its an oquaqe plastic and in a low traffic area

heres where it will be hiding for awhile probably with some green for added comfort

heres the waterbowl which was just some little ceramic bowl my mom swipped from some restarunt on "accident" haha

and a top view of the whole thing

its hopefully gonna house a bumblepee or spider if i can find one at a decent price. i doubt its perfect but for my first tub set up im pretty happy with it let me know if i gotta change anything or oppinions

Place the accurate in the tub so u can use the humiditycand secondary temp features.

And nice tub. Is that the one with like 5 latches on it? Snake is not getting out of that one. Haha

is it the actual accurate that reads the humidty and not the probe? cause that would explain so much.. like u have no idea!

cause i really cant put it in there or id have a hole in the front lol i have it velcroed to the front for easy removal and apearence purposes

If you look on the back of the Acu-Rite, at the bottom, there are 5 little slots. Inside there are the sensors for the humidity and the ambient or "Indoor" temperature. The probe only measures the "outdoor" temp, which you should be getting from under the substrate above the heat source.

Here is a photo of one of my tubs. The Acu-Rite unit is velcro'd on the cool end. What you can't see in the pic is that right above the substrate line is a hole on each end just big enough for the probe to fit through, so the wire runs out on the cool end, around the back of the tub and in through the warm end and under the substrate, where it is hot glued above the heat pad. These probe access holes are hidden by the hide box on one end and the little branch on the other end. Hopefully this will help with some ideas...
