is she ovulating?
ok so i started pairing my 2 love birds (BP's not actual birds.. :-))
early sept. end of august i think... locked up right away...
and right before they had locked up she shed...
gained 500grams since..
and is now in shed...
shows no interest in him... anymore...
and i guess because she is blue, wont eat...
but she's always eaten while in shed in the past.....
and now is going 1 week and 3 days no feed,
and 2 poops....
no weight loss but 50 grams weight gain in the past week... after pooping.
whats going on?
is it just the weight gain thats why she is shedding?
i dont know how to palpate, i mean i know how, but dont KNOW what it is im feeling. it all feels like muscles...
i've seen the vids on how to.
but i guess till it happens i wont know what im feeling for.
i'll shut up now. thanks.

Re: is she ovulating?
A picture would help.
However, I doubt it. It's too soon. She's still eating, and she's refusing the male and food because of a shed.
It's very early in the season, and she's probably going to eat a lot to prepare for eggs, that's the weight gain.
Building will be gradual, but noticeable, same with the behavior.
Ovulation is hard to miss.
Patience.
