Albino Hogg Island Boas?
Hey everyone. So I dont have a boa, but I'm interested in getting a hogg island boa. When I look around online, if I manage to even find a hogg island they basically all seem to be the same morph. I'm wondering if there is even an albino morph with this species. And if so, how hard are they to find, and if anyone has come across one how much was it?
Theres a reptile show next week that I'm thinking of going to if theres a chance I could possibly find one, or even just some type of different morph than all the ones I've seen online.
Thanks

Hog Island boas are thought to be extinct in the wild on their native island Cayo de los Cochinos. While considered BCI's, purists (myself included) don't like to cross other BCI mutations into the Hog Island locale because they don't want to "muddy up" the pure lines. Sometimes you can see salmon Hogs available for sale, but I haven't seen an albino Hog. Any you would find would be 50% mainland BCI, and not as light as a normal Hog. At an expo, it's very doubtful you'd find one. If you want an albino boa, I'd suggest just getting an albino male BCI.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I do think if I get a larger boa it would definitely be a male.
Thanks again
