Getting baby KSB to feed

I recently received a hatchling KSB. After having him for 3 days I attempted to feed a F/T pinky, with no interest from the snake. I waited for another 3 days and attempted again, this time just offering the head (brained) with no interest. But I noticed that he was in blue so I'm hoping this all chalks up to being in shed. But, do you all have any other tips for trying to get a lil guy to eat? (I don't have access to lizards and such to scent with). I'm not too worried as I realize that snakes have very slow metabolisms and can go long periods w/o eating but I'd like to get my new baby established so to speak.

STOP OFFERING.

Leave him be in a SMALL Deil type container that has bedding he can burrow in. After a week drop in a live pinky mouse and leave it in over night.

Also be sure you have the correct temps of 88-90 hot side and 78-80 cool side with low humidity and water bowl.

Well the caps was uncalled for but W/e.

I don't have access to live pinkys. I already have to drive 30 miles one way to even get live Rats for my BP. They also have live mice but nothing smaller than an adult.

The caps were called for to make it get through that more you offer the more you will put the snake off eating.

Offer HOT pinks. I thaw my rodents, then get the toaster oven set at to hop around from 95F to 130F (mine isn't consistent). Put the pink on a tray with foil and check every 5 minute until it's HOT, hotter than a live mouse. For hopper mice, it takes about 30-45 minutes for items like hopper mice, pinky rats, and small rats to get hot for me.

It's also how I brought my two BPs out of feed strike and back to eating f/t like before.

Hot water is all you need. Heating the rodent past 100F is asking fro toubles. May not feel hot to your hands but on their internal organs its hot.
