    Flabby retic?

Roughly a few months ago, I fed my "dwarfish retic" a small rabbit; she handled it quite well and I decided to let it pass. (http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...thout-problems)

Fast forward since the start of October however, I felt that she is flabbier than usual; she still feeds and disposes her wastes regularly and apart from her "flabby feel"; she's pretty much okay. I "tested" her by feeding her live chicks and she still could constrict them without problems.

Am I just being a bit paranoid here? Or is the lone rabbit bound to make her "fat/flabby" when she's used to a diet of rats/multiple chicks? thanks

1.0 Dwarf Philippine Island Retic (Crixus)
    1.0 Normal Ball Python (Achilles)
1.0 miniature werewolf...lol...he's a cross bet. a Daschund and a Shih Tzu (Koda)

Once you go Retic, you get the best pick!

The rabbit has much more "meat" on its bones than rats and chicks. Not sure if just one feeding would make a differance but after a few you will start to see she is more solid.

If anything, the rats are making her flabby. Rabbits are lean animals with little to no fat.
Great men are not born, they are defined by their actions.
