Re: New additions! Blues?
Pretty blues
Most but not all hooded blues are lighter than blue selfs(solid) and blue berkshires.
Same with Himalayan hoodeds VS Himalayan selfs.
Congrats on some pretty food

Re: New additions! Blues?
Congrats on proving her to be a het dumbo, and yes blue is a recessive trait also so mom is also a het blue.
That blue dumbo baby is a cutie and Dobies, I love Dobies, lucky you!
The white on the Blues belly I believe is called Irish, or English Irish, lol, I'm not positive which but it's not a self and not a Berkshire.
That black one is a variegated Berkshire or Variberk as they are called.
It's actually one of my favorite patterns in a rat, that and the possum face blazes like that blue variegated girl rat you have there, super cute.

Thank you!!!
I love my dobie most days I'm ready for her to grow up a bit more, she will turn 2 on the 8th.
I forgot about Irish! I love variberks too! I might keep her, she's the best veriberk I've gotten so far. And the blue blazed is a possum face, cool! She hasn't had a litter yet, she's pretty young, but soon I should get some babies out of her. Now I need to figure out who I'm going to breed her to....hmm. I have a blazed possum face dumbo hairless boy (that's way too many traits for one rat, lol)

Be careful breeding high white gene to high white gene
You can make some wild looking babies with that breeding, but I think you might also be risking mega colon.
I try to make sure my male breeders don't carry the gene so I can breed female blazes and get those sweet odd-patterned babies and it just prevents any chance of mega colon issues in litters.
I'd venture to say that's why most large breeders use mostly hooded rats as that trait doesn't carry the gene.

What is the marking called on that black and white baby?
I have some just like it, with the M of white on their sides.

Variegated Berkshire or Variberk either is correct.
