Fourth week not eating...

My normal '09 BP ate for the first week with me, and none after. I assume she's going through a winter fast. Her temps are 91F on UTH, 75F on cold side. Humidity is good.

She weighed 600g when I got her. She now weighs 580g. How much longer should I wait until I try assisted feeding? How much is a "drastic" weight loss?

I have some BP's that go 6 months during the breeding season without eating with no ill effects. Assist feeding at this point my cause more harm with the stress than good. Unless she gets noticeable skinny with her spine sticking out I'd just wait it out and review her habitat just in case.

I would bump up the temp of her uth to 93-94*, also increase the cool to 78*

Your temps are fine just give the snake time to come around and decide to eat.

Just basically at times have to forget you have the snake to not stress about the non feeding.

Try offering different types of prey. Live, frozen thawed - rat, ASF. Sometimes they get picky with what you're offering. Don't stress just yet.

This is the last resort. You dont go on changing its type of food all over the place. Offer what your feeding and you know it has eaten and give it time.

Changing it on them can cause the fasting period to become longer
