    Omg finally.

I have two female spiders possible het hypo that i got in a trade. They are absolutely stunning. I put in my request for their look (back stripe, high yellow, high white) to the breeder when I got them and he absolutely delivered.

They were both eating in his care on live hoppers. One baby, (12 per her feed card) took to F/T the next night after I got her. Her sister (11) has had a rough time. She was very nevious, had a full body stuck shed, then several refusals. She seemed more afraid of her food than interested in eating it. I had to force feed her twice. (Since losing a baby to starvation, I refuse to let that happen again. I KNEW she would eat on her own, She'd eaten before and next week I was going to grab her a live hopper or three to see if she'd take them) but I went to feed a few minutes ago since Its been about a week and I wanted to get some more food into everyone before they started slowing down for the winter.

SHE TOOK A F/T HOPPER ON HER OWN!!! OMG. I got her on 9/24, so its been a month with 2 meals for a 100 gram snake. Her sister (who has gotten all her leftovers) is almost 250 grams and is insatiable. I love spiders!

NICE! Glad to hear she is taking food on her own now.

I agree. This was the only thing that went right for me this week also. Work has just been crazy. Hopefully this is the beginning of a change.

perhaps in a day or so

I am not doing ANYTHING that would even give this girl an idea to not eat again. I'll pester her after she's digested.
