    Updated pictures of the Rescue...

Several People asked for Updated pictures of the Rescue i got with some really cool coloring. Well i fixed up a new cage i got for dirt cheap with some fresh paint and a thorough cleaning, now it is being used as a very good light box for pictures!!

He has a FEROCIOUS appetite and will literally hang his body 50% out of the tub if rodents are in the room searching for it. He eats 2 small rats like it's nothing every feeding and just shed about 4 days ago, so his colors are awesome and bright as ever!!

He tends to be a little skiddish and i can't wait till i get my CB-70 rack so i can go ahead and pair him with my normal female to see if the colors are just luck or genetic. I'm thinking he is just a nice example, but if it's genetic, AWESOME!!

Overall he is the best rescue i've made since his burns are so bad and he never had a hide. Now he hides all day and the high humidity in his cage probably feels great compared to the old tank. Enjoy the pictures!!!

    Aw...poor guy! Burn scars?
Sounds like you are taking great care of him...and he is freaking gorgeous! Totally sweet if that's genetic!

We are thinking that it's either burn scars or chewing due to a rat being left in the enclosure. A lot of similar chew marks seen on other snakes would lead me to believe it is more so chew marks than burns, but it's hard to tell. They have healed ok over time, but it hasn't affected his appetite at all!!

Yeah lets hope for some really pretty normals or another very light tan morph that would look great with other mixes.

Very pretty snake and good for you for rescuing it! I just rescued an unsexed normal about three weeks ago. It was severely under fed. This snake goes bonkers on feeding day. It is gaining weight nicely though.
