Help! Help!!!

We gave Nergal a F/T mouse tonight, and left him in the container with the lid on (he takes forever to eat!).
I came back and he was just finishing the mouse--but he had eaten it tail-end first!!! His neck was stretched really wide, wider than usually, and I could see his individual scales and stuff. It looked painful.
He looked like he was maybe having trouble breathing too, and for the longest time he couldn't swallow the mouse, even though it was all the way in his mouth (the head part). It looked like some liquid was coming out of his mouth too, clear colored.
Afterward he finally swallowed it he made a high pitched, small "squeak" noise. I can't figure out why, but my snakes keep doing that every once in a while. :/
Will he be ok? Is it likely he will regurge? What is the squeaking noise I heard? And WHY does Nergal keep eating the mice tail-first? >.< He is frustrating me. What do I do, if anything?

Should be fine. BP's sometimes just eat thier food backwards. Just make sure he's got enough heat to digest and keep an eye on him.

Also Bp's done make any noise. Most likely just been some air escaping or less likey they squeak sometimes when they have a RI. Just keep an eye out for any mucus coming out of your BP's mouth or nose where he is not eating.

Only time I hear squeaks coming from by BP's is where they eat thier food alive.

Hi,

I usually find warming the head of the F/T up more helps them find the right end.

And, as said, there are a few causes of squeaks - stuck shed blocking the nose, shedding blocking the nose, bogies , and of course an RI.

I would wait until he has digested his meal and give him the ocne over.
