Hey all, long story short I pulled my '10 mojave out today for cage cleaning/water change/checkup etc. and noticed he had a funny red spot on his chin. He's really shy so it was really hard to get a picture but I was wondering if anyone has seen this before and if it's harmful? It looks bloody.
He ate a small adult mouse three days ago, his warm side is kept at 91, and he always has access to fresh water. Sadly he had a bad shed a week or so ago and has retained eyecaps that we're working on. His mouth looks fine other than the red spot. I don't know if a bad shed could have caused this? Mouth rot? Mites? He's only ever been fed f/t so I know it's not a bite. I really have no clue or experience with this. He eats fine and I've never had a problem with him. Any ideas? Thanks!
