Constipated snake??

Ok I got my snake about almost a month ago I feed him twice I did not ask the guy I bought him from about his bathroom skills. He does not seem bloated or uncomfortable we take him out almost everyday for exercise. He's around 7 ft the temps and humidity are where they should be I have given him a bath for the last two days, when he's out I rub his under belly and there doesn't seem to be anything in there would I feel his pooh? Should I just continue giving a bath? And would he stop eating if he was backed up? Thanks for replies in advance.

Boas can go weeks without defecating. Most of my snakes only defecate every three weeks or so.

My new boa that I just got on September 25 hadn't gone to the bathroom since a couple days after she'd been home, and that wasn't even poop—just urates/urine. Three mice and a shed later, she still hadn't gone... until today. I got her out and let her slither around while I laid on my bed and watched a TV show (was watching Detroit 1-8-7, because the star is Christopher from The Sopranos ). I kept lightly massaging the lower third of her body, thinking she might finally go once I put her back in her tub. Unfortunately, the massaging worked a little too well. Poop, urates, and urine all over my shirt, belt, pants, underwear, and even on my bed. I didn't know so much could come out of such a small snake! The lower third of her body was noticeably thinner after this. And I had to just watch in horror as it happened.

I would only start to get worried if a couple more weeks pass by and if he's noticeably bloated. However, adults probably poop less often anyway.

Dont worry about it. They go when they need to, their not mammals that digest and pass foods like warm blooded animals.

Boas normally go once a month when young and about once every 2-3 months as adults.
