If you're looking for another beginner snake, then a corn snake would be a good choice. Lots of morphs, non-offensive, and hardy.

If you're feeling more adventurous, then consider a kingsnake, hogg island boa, or jungle / irian jaya carpet pythons.

Another ball python! Get a male pastel for your pinstripe...

BP owner since Oct 2008, so yeah, I'm no expert.
    0.1.0 pastel bp

    1.0.0 bumblebee bp
    1.0.0 yellowbelly bp
    0.0.1 normal bp
    1.0.0 normal western hognose

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Boas are great! A common Colombian BCI are easy to care for, come in some awesome color morphs, and are generally puppy dog tame. Although they can get fairly large, and if you get a female you'll need a 6 x 2 x 2 cage someday, males stay a little smaller and can chill in a 4 x 2 their whole life. Or you can go for a Hogg Island, or say a Nicaraguan that stay smaller (nics stay about the size of a ball python).

Although I've noticed some Nics can have a bit of an attitude lol.
