    Question How Long "TYPICALLY"..Breeding Q..

Just wondering ABOUT/USUALLY how long does it take after seeing a Lock does it take to get eggs? I know it varies quite a bit but just wondering what most people tend to expect.

I got locks on Sept. 27th...and Oct 2nd so far....Just trying to figure out about when I should HOPE to see eggs. I know I have to wait for the POS shed and all that....lol.

What has been your experiences with "Expectancy" ? lol.

Many months. Very rare first lock gets the job done.

Ive have about 5 locks with 5 different males. I dont expect eggs till February or March.

Keep breeding till female no longer wants the male

Yeah, I'm still breeding them. My male is in shed right now, but the 1st day I put him in with one of my females he locked up with her with-in 2 hours..lol..The other female he locked up with for a few hours, then ended up locking up again with her the next day.

He's proven so I'm pretty sure he'll get the job done for most of my girls...lol...I was just trying to get an "About how long" idea of when I should get eggs..

    Thanks.

The only timeline you can go by is from the moment your female ovulates anything else is speculation.

x2, just keep pairing until you see theres no interest with locks or you see her ovulate.

Pair them often ... As you wait for their ovulation... Once you have ovulation.. Pre-layshed will be just around the corner.. Than is 26-30 days for the eggs to be laid...

    Hope this helps

    1. Pair for six months.
    2. Female ovulates.
    3. ~30 days later she sheds.
    4. ~30 days later shed lays eggs.

It's a loooong process, not a Drive-Thru fast food scenario.
