Gas and spraying feces is it bad?

Ok I'm asking this because for the second time in two days my big female has sprayed the side of her tank with feces, and has made some really bad gas sounds. I saw her doing it today and it looked painful. She had her mouth open and looked like she was straining while making farting sounds and spraying the back of the tank. Anyone seen this before? Should I be worried?

Yea that isn't normal at all.

BP's feces should not be spraying the side of the tank, and nor should they do this twice in consecutive 2 days.

I would set up a vet appt asap.

It might be worth the drive to go to a certified reptile vet if he/she is not one. Also i don't think this is normal for any snake. Poop should be solid and some fur is ok, but too much means other things. A rat tail in the feces could mean something might be going on inside, maybe she ate a bad rodent.

I would skip feeding if you could, just to be safe, unless of course shes all ready for it and the vet will probably want a Fecal sample.

Too late she has been showing me she is hungry for hours. so I fed her she ate 2 med rats like they were candy. as to the vet I have done some research. two other vets recommend this guy. Just the new vet jitters. I haven't had to take in a reptile ever for something wrong. Ive had this one in for three checkups over her life (Ive had her 10 years) and she has always been perfectly health even if she is considered long, 6 feet, for a BP.

I hope she'll be okay D: I'd be pretty anxious for my first reptile vet visit as well, but I'm sure it'll be fine, lol. Good luck with her, and keep us updated, please!
