Some pics from my last clutch: Pewter X Cinny

My last clutch of the year turned out pretty well. My Pewter male X Cinny female yielded 9 good eggs. From that I got 2 Normals, 2 Cinnies, 2 Pewters, 1 Super Cinny and 2 Silver Bullets. Unfortunately one of the Pewters died right before it hatched, but it did give my youngest son the opportunity to dissect a snake.

Here are a few pics from that clutch that turned out pretty well. (Note to self: if you want a group shot, make sure you get it soon after they hatch. I waited too long and half of the snakes were VERY bitey... impossible to get a decent picture of the whole clutch.)

    Thanks for looking!

It sucks that you lost one but those Silver Bullets are beautiful! Do you know what they will look like as adults?
    *EDIT*
In my ignorance, after googling some images... I may not have been talking about the Silver Bullet (although still beautiful) I was referencing the second and third pics. Which are those?? LOL

That's the Super Cinny. Somehow I managed to get two good shots from her, so I thought I would post them both.

LOL. Tell me about it. I thought I could get a group shot, and a few of them went CRAZY. Especially the Super Cinny. He was biting at every movement and then some. Fortunately my wife recently got me a mini snake hook that came in very handy.

Oh, and about the one that died... I cut the egg a day or two after the due date because it was starting to look moldy. The snake was actually stuck to the inside of the shell and it was obvious that he was dead. I was just going to throw him out, but my son is very interested in animals and anatomy and he asked if he could dissect it. I didn't see anything obvious as far as cause of death. The only strange thing that I noticed was a small internal lump below his heart that discolored the tissue around it. I have no idea if that was abnormal or if it was the cause of death, but besides that it looked very healthy.
