Any ideas what could be wrong here ?
I really don't think she's impacted be cause she's defacated twice this week

Yikes... if you try to bend the tail just a little does she flinch or hiss or indicate that it hurts?

It doesn't seem to bother her she's about 8 years old and quite large could she just be fat/obese?

its gonna be ooookay!
Unfortunately, when we get into the albino and genetic manipulation we see in the snake hobby world, you will fins that a rather high number of albinos are born with either head or tail deformities, if your snake is that old, you can go ahead and relax, she or he is fine, and they dont feel any pain either. if your just now seeing the size difference on the tail, not fat, just gettin healthy, easier to see the tail deformities then. she looks gorgeous =)
1.0 Calico anery het snow red tail, 1.0 Hypo triple het snow/stripe/anery,0.1 het salmon red tail, 0.2 Circle back ladder tails het albino red tails,1.0 colombian rainbow boa,1.1 Okeetee and reverse okeetee pair of corns, 1.1 Royal python, cbb wild type. 1.1 Pacific Gopher pair, high yellow and albino. 20 years keeping and caring for my herps =)
