    Rescue feeding

Hey everyone I have a question about feeding. I just got a rescue that is a bit underfeed. While I do have extensive experience with Boas, this is in fact my first rescue. So to get her back to a healthy weight should I feed her the proper size rat for her size at the proper time, or should I feed her the proper size but up the feeding by a few days. ( i.e. one xx large rat every 5 days instead of one xx large rat every 7 days.) Or an altogether different approach any info would be great. Just want to make sure she can get healthy.
