    Poop after cleaning

Just about every time I change out the snakes tubs and cage they totally unload all over the place. I change out the bp's a couple days ago and sure enough both of them annihilated their enclosure within a couple hours.

Yesterday I switched my corn to paper towel from aspen and literally within 20 minutes of being completely sanitized and fresh, she destroyed a corner of the 20GL and it went for like 8 inches.

Is this a common thing other than for just me? Do you think the corn isn't comfortable for whatever reason using aspen as a toilet? When I first got her she didn't go to the bathroom for months until I gave her a warm bath. I think she's a procrastinator!

Maybe the excitement gets to them?

    Hi,

Yep some of mine do it too.

One in particular (male cornsnake ) can't seem to live without the smell of crap in his enclosure.

I wondered if it was territorial or if he truly enjoyed making me run around like his faithful servant.

if you clean on a certain day....try taking them out and putting down a old comforter and letting them slither around a bit. Chances are they may take care of their business with a little exercise...lol
