Chronic respiratory infection?
I got my BP last September (he was 2 mo. old). Ever since I've had him, he occasionally makes clicking noises when he breathes. It doesn't seem to be at all related to shedding as he does it even after he's just shed. I ended up taking him to the vet a couple months after getting him. Based on what I was describing, not the exam, she said it was possible he had a RI. She sent me home with a round of Fortaz, but she also mentioned that it was possibly just an anatomical issue.
Being the paranoid person I am, I ended up giving him two rounds of Fortaz, which didn't make any difference. I've since just ignored it; he still makes clicking sounds occasionally, but he's grown a lot since then and has never refused a meal (he's a very aggressive eater, in fact).
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this before? I spoke to someone about this a couple months ago, and they suggested sprinkling herptivite on his rats every couple weeks before feeding him. Is this even something worth trying?
Another thing I've noticed ever since I got him, is that after eating or sometimes drinking, he'll rub the sides of mouth (and sometimes his nose too) on the paper towel in his tank. Is this normal behavior?
Any information would be great, thanks.

My snake rubs after drinking also.
Is there mucus or excess saliva if you look inside of his mouth?
