what is the difference between a young lav albino and an albino?

Just wondering what the difference was between a young lavender albino and a young albino. Because I hear lavs don't get their colour until they age.

From what I've seen the Lavender albinos are a lot brighter as babies. They look like what a 'high contrast' albino should look like.

They also have a lot more of a shimmer to them...where the white and yellow come together in a baby lav, it almost glows...far more so than in a typical albino.
