    Is this normal?

Sorry if I'm overposting, but I guess I'm like an overprotective parent. I had to move my BP's habitat around a little to get his new water dish in there, and in the process had to move his hide a little. Now, he is curled up in a ball outside his hide. I am hesitant to place the hide over him, but I'm wondering if I've scared him or something. I also moved the tank around a bit last night to put a fleece blanket around it until I can get cork board or something similar to block out light. Thanks.

No big deal. You most likely startled him when you moved his hide. He'll uncurl and move when he feels ready. Best thing to do is just leave him be for a bit.

Don't worry though, you didn't do any damage, only time that kind if stuff would cause major stress is if it was happening to him throughout the day every day. Once in a while like when you are changing water/substrate doesn't hurt anything.

Thank you, him being my first BP, I'm paranoid. I want to take excellent care of him, and I'm doing everything I can, including asking many questions, to do that.
