    A quick note in case anyone wonders...

    Arachnids and certain invertebrates are a very common part of many herp-lovers' collections, and therefore are included in our Herp of the Month contest, even though they are not reptiles or amphibs. It's all part of the same obsessive love!

    She's a two year-old Stimson's Python named Veruca... and she says thanks for the compliment.
