Who else has a nasty cold right now?
The one slamming everybody in Spokane is definitely part URTI--starts out with a horrible sinus headache and congestion, then moves down to the lungs and causes a bad cough with lots of sputum due to what seems like bronchitis. Ick.
I'm going to the doctor today at my parent's request, how much do you want to bet they prescribe antibiotics? XD (those don't help the common cold, or flu.)
So, I guess over here it's already time to start drinking gatorade by the gallon and eating lots of soup.
It's not even October yet. Grrr
To anyone else who is sick, or gets sick in the future, please feel better soon!

You are 100% right though, my parents have lived all over the US when they were younger and not yet together, and NEITHER of them remember getting sick anywhere else as much as they do here.
WA has one of the highest thyroid disease rates in the world, too.

I don't know of any local breeders up north either, at least that I know of (San Juan Island area here). Have the start of what sounds like the nasty cold m'self (congestion and a gnarly headache last night) and I'm just hoping it doesn't get that bad. I hope you're feeling better soon! Maybe it's because I grew up here, but I really don't get sick all that often, and I really love all the rain xD It's just the vitamin D deficiency that sucks

My wife and I are both trying to get through this too. We're about a week in, still with some sinus stuff but it has already moved into our chests. It was a noisy house this weekend with both of us hacking and wheezing all weekend...
