    I have a pipper!

I am so excited. Today is day 56 of my Corn eggs' incubation. I went to check on them a few minutes ago and found this!

Looks like it could possibly be an Amel, though it could also be another Snow. I'm so happy, I can't wait for the others to start pipping. I'll post more pictures as we go along.

Thank you both! I can't wait to see the others pipping, too.

    Re: I have a pipper!

Thanks guys! Mom is a Snow and dad is an Abbott's Okeetee. Nothing fancy, but it's my second clutch and since the first one didn't go so well, I'm really stoked that I have so many hatching. This afternoon I am up to five pippers, but no one brave enough yet to fully hatch.

    Re: I have a pipper!

They are all five out now and I couldn't be more ecstatic. 2 amels, 2 anerys and a beautiful little normal who is the sweetest thing EVAR. When I went to pick it up, it curled up right in my hand, wrapped it's little tail around my finger and then refused to let me put it down. I may end up keeping that one, simply because I love the personality. Here are some pics of the gang so far. I'm still waiting on the other eggs to pip, though I'm sure it will be more of these cute little devils.

    Amelanistic #1, curious, but flighty.

Amelanistic #2, fiesty and snap happy.

Anerythristic #1, calm but "no touchy!"

    Anerythristic #2, confused and explorative.

    Egg tooth!!!

    Normal #1, gentle and clingy.

More pics to come as more hatch!
