Last night I was cleaning out my snake's cage. I (half asleep) put him in my empty plastic hamper for a minute while I changed his substrate, water, ect... My hamper has holes in it, and my BP decided to try to crawl out of it, but he couldn't fit all the way through as the hole is smaller than the widest part of my snake. (giggidy)
Anyway, he kinda got stuck a little bit, but he still insisted on trying to fit through the hole. Now, I'm sure I'm gona get slammed by the BP Police on here, but it was an honest mistake - I wasn't thinking straight.
In order to get him out, I very gently pulled on him, easing him back through the hole very gradually, but he kept fighting and fighting and really wanted to try to escape and continue going through the hole. My question is... What are some problems that I could be facing health-wise? Again, I was very careful not to pull hard or jerk suddenly or anything, but some force had to be exerted in order to get him out. AND he kept fighting it, so I'm concerned he could be hurt. He's acting fine today, and even ate for me no problem a few hours ago, but I figured I'd just run it by some people.
Has anyone had a similar experience??
