    Nice looking Pastel BCI

Haha baby boas sometimes have a bit of an "attitude" from my experience. He's just scared and wants you to go away, give him a couple days to settle in, although he'll probably hiss at you again now that he knows it makes you go away don't let it intimidate you though.

You could get a snake hook and start hook training him while he's young. Once he realizes that hissing and striking aren't going to prevent him from being handled he should calm down...

I suggest letting the boa settle in a bit before you attempt handeling, he needs time to adjust and feel secure in his new environment. Then after about a week or so start the hook training or he may have calmed down enough to handle normaly.
