Insulating a sterilite tub? Any Ideas?

So my house is usually 65 to 70 degrees and I cant find a way to insulate my tub to keep the cool side warm without using a heat lamp 24/7 on both sides. Any ideas for an insulator?

Is it possible for you to get a space heater and keep just the room that the snake is in warmer?

I use a couple oil filled radiant heaters in my basement to keep it about 80 degrees. 1 will do the job but 2 dont have to work as hard. The rest of my house is right under 75 and everytyhing works perfectly. Even the snakes.

reflex insulation (bubble wrap W/ silver sides) works well.if your using a lid for the tub be sure to tape some on the inside of the lid.it's found at any HC.have fun!

Never, under any circumstances, use tape on the inside of a reptile enclosure.

aluminum duct tape works fine and causes no threat to the snake, just make sure it's pressed firmly in place.

eh not so much. i wouldn't risk that. next thing you know, from the heat the tape falls off and get stuck to your snake.
