My first BP and third snake
My sister gave me her normal BP, Vincent, earlier this week. I'm still tweaking his setup, as the best humidity I can get out of it is 48% during the day. I've come to find out that Vision Cages aren't the best for this, but I'll get it right pretty quickly. My boa's setup took a little work too when I switched him over to a bigger tank, but he's got the right consistent numbers now.

I'll post better pics when Vincent's gotten a little more used to the new digs. He's the friendliest snake I've seen yet - my boa couldn't care less if I'm around, lol, and the kingsnake's curiosity is probably the only reason she lets me pick her up so much. But Vincent seems to like hanging out

What does your humidity look like and what do you do to keep it up? I'm only concerned because I know the minimum is something like 50%. My sister never misted this guy because she keeps her herps in a climate-controlled room, but I can't do that as I live in an efficiency, lol. For now, I have some damp moss in the tank, and a damp towel covering a third of the mesh screen on top of the cage. I'll do misting if I have to, but I want something more consistent.
