    Re: 10%bleach/water how long?

Whenever I use Bleach, its always a 10 minute contact time, but I have read Bleach really needs 30 minutes.

I dont use it anymore, I use Chlorhexidine and Trifectant, both which get a 10 minute contact time.

    Re: 10%bleach/water how long?

I was using Chlorohexadine until I read it didn't kill many viruses. I switched to bleach and then read a few posts that vinegar/water (50/50) was JUST as effective as bleach and much much safer. I spray my tubs down with a good soaking of 50/50 vinegar-water, wipe the tub with papertowels, spray the tub with water, wipe out all the moisture with paper towels, and put my BP's back in.
