    Mystic potions

Is the only way to make a mistic potion is by breed a mystic to a mojave? If so, we many have stumbled into something new.

That is what people are calling mystic x mojo, yes. BUT there seems to be a few different crosses that make very similar animals, at least from what I have been seeing.

Would you mind posting pictures and what you bred to get it? I am very curious as they are one of the next morphs I would like to get.

They were bred by my brother. He bred a nice looking mojave male to a nice looking "normal" female he picked up at a pet store. Hoping it was a gene carrier. I got the honors of cuting into the egg this weekend and saw a purple and white snake inside!

Specials, mystics, phantoms, and vin russo het leucies ALL tend to look a bit "normal-ish" when compared to lessers and mojos.

If you've successfully identified a BEL-complex carrier female, you may have some of them in that clutch as well. Keep us updated, with pics! Congrats.

    Re: Mystic potions

What day are they on? We thought we had the same luck this year by breeding a Super Mojave to a female we thought was a Phantom, when we cut the eggs we were stoked but after a couple days they magically changed into Mojaves. Every clutch of Mojaves we have had always look like that until a couple days before pipping. Hopefully you got something new but don't get too excited yet.
