    My beardie clan :D

A year ago i had just gotten my first beardie Sunny... i didn't know anything at all about beardies, but was wiked excited to learn.... now a year later, I can say that i know a lot more about beardies.... and i have more then one- As of yesterday we have 5 beardies, 2 definite girls, 1 definite boy, and 2 whose sex we do not know Today was a big clean up and organize day and so it was also a good picture day

So Sunny is up first, shes is still a fatty but she does not get over fed-

next is Charlie- We got him last January from a friend that was having a hard time getting him to eat. When we got him, we discovered that he has MBD and so treatment started right away, now he eats like a pig and gets liquid calcium 2X a day. Although he still has a hard time with his legs, hes still likes running around his tank all day long trying to get noticed by the girls.

Tarzan is up next, she is almost a miracle beardie ( well to us) we got her not long after LB passed away (LB is a little baby beardie that we got from a breeder at the Long Island show sometime last spring.. he never ate for us and passed away about a month after we brought him home).
We got Tarzan from petsmart... we always look at their reptiles - and she was the only one in the tank and i knew that she had been there for several weeks ( we frequent that particular petsmart every so often to get cat food and just look around....). (S)he ate from the very first day... no relocation stress to think about... AND she eats her veggies- really attacks them when we put them in the tank. She has been coloring up amazingly well and growing like a weed.

Next is Sahara- my boyfriends beardie- we got her at the last white plaines show... and shes a total cutie. On the way home from the show she did NOT want to be in the container that she was put in, and actually rode the whole 3 hours on my hand looking out the window. shes a translucent ( i think) and like Tarzan, growing like a weed and LOVEs her veggies

and finally, our newest baby is Lucifer... he is a little devil, bearding up at anything that goes by his tank. Hes a petco beardie and has been at the store for at least a month if not more. Im hoping that with handling he will calm down a bit (and also good food )

    thanks for looking

Very pretty collection. I am very big into beardeds, have 12 sub adults - adults and lots of babies. But you saying that the one baby might be a translucent, well one way to tell is that they will have black eyes and at that size you should be able to see some sections of his body still translucent. Hope this helps.

Thanks for posting the pics may be one of these days i will post some of my collection.

Wow those look great, I want to get a beardie but I just dont have room for a tank, with numerous bp's, 5 Leo's and a Mali Uromastyx I've exhausted my roommates patience and space - The beardies seem active and fun to have I also like the size and temperments, the Mali I have is such a joy, very tuned to our voices and on a great schedule of basking and being out.

    Anyways cool collection!
