    Today I found a flea

on my dog, and I'm pretty allergic to them. My rats are in the kitchen part of my bedroom (It's like an efficiency without appliances). My dogs sleep in my room, so I'm sure the rats will get the fleas. I checked them over and didn't find anything, but how to I treat them? I'll be flea bombing and treating all the dogs. I just figured I should treat them all at the same time.

Re: Today I found a flea

My vet told me to get over the counter medication from the petstore to kill the fleas. I also read you can bathe them in dawn dish soap and it will kill them, my vet said go ahead and try. I'll use the soap first and see what happens.
