It's day 46 and I wanted to separate my eggs. When I first got them from the mother I left them together in 1 big clump of 5. The top 3 eggs have dimpled but the bottom 2, which were really big btw, were still very round and full. I've got them on Vermiculite btw. They've been cooking at about 89-90 and all the eggs candle fine. I see healthy looking red blood vessels.

Since I'm getting close to hatch time, the eggs are starting to change. They are getting softer and the glue that binds them is getting weaker, so I decided to separate them so when it comes time to hatch, the babys will have an easy departure path. I noticed that on the bottom 2, where they touch the vermiculite on the bottom of the eggs, the eggs looks really thin, almost see through. Anyway they started leaking on the bottom thin area through what looks like a pin hole. The area where the eggs were glued together looks fine, its where it was sitting in the vermiculite that is the problem.

Anyway I'm not sure what to do about it. I'm afraid that the yoke will leak out before they are ready to leave since the hole is on the bottom. Not to mention the possibility of contamination.

Thanks
