    New Gal..

a local, privately owned pet store, where i get my rats had a ball in a couple weeks back. He said he had just gotten her. She looked different (I realized it was just the lighting now..) but I couldn't take it, she was in a little aquarium.. He didn't have much room for her.. and surprizingly my fiance thinks she is pretty.. ( He HATES my spider ball, i dunno why...) so i get her home.. and now have had some time with her, she has lots of scars.. and the her underside scales look like they are healing from what could have been scale rot? the edges are thin and look like they are peeling or they are brown..

She is in QT and in another room from my spider ball, should I be worried about her? she is of healthy weight, looks good.. is skiddish, but doesn't show any temper... Im worried I made the wrong choice now. She just looked like she wanted out sooo bad.. Here are some pictures.. the lighting is bad, but she likes my couch.

From what I can see in the pics her belly looks fine to me. Better pics would be needed for me to give a 100% on that though. She looks really good to me from what I can see. Also, welcome to ballpythons.net

    Thumbs up Re: New Gal..

You did a good thing by bringing her home and giving her a chance at a better life.. if anything smile and pat yourself on the back.. super cool...

I couldn't have said it any better. Don't feel bad and think you made a mistake, just getting that snake out of that pet store made all the difference in its life. Be proud that you gave her a second chance and maybe
she might reward you with some babies in the futher!
