Yellow Belly/Ivory prices
I just saw an ad on CL for an adult Ivory for 3000$, and below it yellow belly males shipped for 100$?? I mean, I get that its an ivory and has more breeding potential, but still doesn't seem right. How much do you think adult Ivories normally go for? Is this just a really high price?

You have to consider what is at hand. A mature female ivory which has raised 2-3 years and could be bred this season. Females are worth several times more than males as adults.

Ivories are not even close to 3k. Maybe a grand. Either a scammer or someone that is kidding himself.

Exactly, I know babies are worth around $850-1100 or so. That's why I question John Vs reply.'

Considering female pastels are worth under $200 as babies right now, and $650-$1000 around breeding size, I wouldnt be surprised about someone asking $3k for a female ivory.
Another thing you have to remember, three years ago yellow belly prices were much higher. You could not get a male yb for $100 shipped. Female ybs are going for $100-$200 this year and its a safe bet that in three years when that generation is breeding an adult female ivory will be worth a lot less.
