5 or 7 day feeding schedule?

Im thinking that my BP is alittle skinny for her size. She about 13 inches, give or take a couple, and the thickest part is little bit narrower than a hopper. When i first got her, i was feeding mouse pinkys, 2 feedings, 1 each time every 7 days. Then i switched up to fuzzys, shes ate 2 of those in 2 weeks. I just think she is alittle underweight from pics on here iv seen. Would it hurt to feed every 5 days for a few months?

    Here is some pics

She does look quite skinny. A snake that size should be able to handle a full sized mouse. And i would feed her at least once a week.

she does look a little small, how long have you had her? my bp is a little bigger then that she is around 16 inches and i have her eating small adult mice. she takes it no problem. the prey should at least be as big as the widest part of your snake. if you go to big she may regurge wich is not good for the snake. i feed every 5 days and my bp seems to be gaining weight and looking healthier! she was really skinny when i bought her from petsmart. usually pinkies and fuzzies are for newborns. if you have to feed her twice in one day then you should definately go up a size in prey. you will be suprised on how big of a prey she can eat! she is a very beautiful snake!!

Definitely up her prey size, mouse pinkies are WAY too small for a ball python. I start my hatchlings out on rat fuzzies...

Usually the feeding rule is every 5 days until 500g and then every 7 days. The prey should be about 10-15% of the BP bp body weight.

Ok, I fed her last wednesday, should I feed today? Iv never fed he twice in one day, maybe u misunderstood me. Only reason I'm feeding fuzzy is cuz the second week I had her, I fed hopper and she regurged it, thought it was too big, so I waited and then tried a fuzzy and ate it no problem.

If you are staying small for her safety, then I would definitely go every 5 days. My biggest challenge when my bp was eating small prey was finding them in a good supply small enough! I tried switching to f/t, but Tiberius had none of it and now he is on small rats, which isn't a problem! Good luck!
