MY BP is starting his first shed with me.

He's starting his first shed with me. I noticed as I pulled him out of his habitat that his eyes were milky. His skin has been getting milky for about a week, so he's started getting really skittish. SO I'm gonna have to be careful that he doesn't bite me

Just make sure you bump the humidity up to about 70-75% and let him relax. His eyes should clear up in a couple of days and 2-3 days later he should shed...

I keep the humidity about 50% during shed. Never had a problem.

Re: MY BP is starting his first shed with me.

I have been keeping his humidity up and he's coming along fine. I referred to the sticky on shedding and he's in the stage now to where his skin almost looks like he's already shed, so it shouldn't be long. I am actually excited to see how it goes, although I miss holding him.
