Use locking tubs, I use 40qt sterilite ultras and 34qt sterilite green handles and 15qt and 6qt sterilite green handles.
They all work well and are sturdy.

Flexwatt is WAYYYYY cheaper than heat pads, just make sure to have a thermostat to plug them into.

The bean farm and reptilebasics are 2 good places to get flexwatt.
I use 11X12 inch pads for large tubs as it gives them a nice large hot spot for them to lay on.

106qt is similar floor space as the 40qt but it has much higher sides. The tall sides isnt really needed for ball pythons but if it works than stick with it. Majority of us use the 40qt or smaller because the hieght of the containers save in space.

It stands for quarts. 4qts equals 1 gallon. 40qt is 10 gallons, 100qt is 25 gallons. Just in case you want to know how they relate to glass aquariums. There still different in size though because tubs are generally longer and not as tall.
