    OMG, they're pipping!! (DUW)

Day 57 and I was leaning over my egg tub with scissors, debating over whether or not to cut... then one of the babies decided to answer, by showing me the hole he'd made himself! With the first official pip, I decided to go ahead and cut the rest. OMG, my hands were shaking so much, I did a horrible job on the first few eggs. And they're still stuck together like glue, so I actually had to cut them while still in the tub - probably a good thing, since I was shaking enough that I may have dropped them.

It looks like I have 3 normals, 1 or 2 pastels, and the last one is throwing me for a loop... this might be a double-daddy clutch, because it looks an awful lot like a Mojave! Btw, the first one who pipped was the one I was most worried about, and had dubbed "pancake egg." It got severely dented early into incubation, so I guess he got sick of the lack of space. Also interesting to notice he was bigger and drier than the others, so clearly he's farther along in absorbing the yolk. Here are some - okay LOTS of - photos, and I'll post an update once they emerge.

Egg #1 - Normal (and first to pip)

Egg #2 - Pastel (the one I predicted as a pastel! Hehe)

Egg #3 - Not sure? Looks almost half normal and half pastel, LOL.

    Egg #4 - Normal

    Egg #5 - Normal

Egg #6 - Mojave or light normal??

Congrats! I think that one maybe pastel looks like a normal. No idea on the possible mojave. You'll just have to wait for them to crawl out now! That's great though, all live babies!

Thanks! I'm thinking that one is a normal too, but it looks to have an interesting pattern... really confused on that last one, though! I took another look inside the egg, and it really doesn't look like a normal or pastel.

I will, for sure! Here's another picture of that last egg's head... I'm thinking now that it's just a nice pastel. Not that I care, since I'm just thrilled they're all alive and well!
