question?
can a bp die if it was eating and accidentally got a some type of bedding ,like any bedding, in its mouth and swallowed it with the mouse/rat?

No
Ball pythons are rarely, if never impacted by substrate. Impaction is only fatal if very severe.

No, rarely does it bother them! Their stomach acid is strong enough to break down bones of rats then I am sure it can break down wood!

and dont forget that the trachea lining is pretty durable and wont be cut or punctured easily
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

I almost came on here and asked the same thing. It was feeding time yesterday and my python got a couple pieces of repti-bark in with a mouse. I didn't wanna reach in there and try to pick them off...

Naw, old wives tale, like hold a snake after eating will make it regurge, another old wives tale 
It did bother me enough to go away from aspen and to using paper towels, but they can easily digest most bedding.

lol i reached into my snakes mouth and started pulling out the aspen that was in there. well the first time i ever fed my snake she ate a pinkie rat and the next day i held her to clean her cage and a day later she regurged so i think its true. never willl i do that again
