Just wondering about feeder sizes...
Alright, so I've been feeding my guy one hopper mouse a week (he's about 100g, 20 inches long) and I've noticed that he's been touring around at night a lot. At first I thought maybe he's just exploring, but now I'm wondering if maybe he's just more hungry and if it's time to go up to adult mice (or feeding hoppers more often)?

I'd bump him up, he should be able to take small adult mice, around 15 grams. And being how young he is, you should probably feed him that twice a week.

2 adult mice per week? Hmmm.. Alright, thanks. The pet store where we got him told us that he was good on one hopper per week, and I thought it sounded a little bit strange.

Re: Just wondering about feeder sizes...
My petstore told me the same thing, was feeding too little for quite a while, and now I'm in the process of trying to fatten him up to where he should be cause he's underweight. Until they hit around 500 grams its good to feed them twice a week, or at least every 5 days. My guy is now on two rat pups a week, seperate feedings of course, when just a few weeks ago he was only on one small adult mouse a week.
