Lighting for BP

I find when im using the uv bulb for my tank, the temps get alittle high, but the tank is in a room that gets daylight in it(not direct sunlight), would that be enough for the daylight for my snake?

Yes it's enough, they are nocturnal snakes.

depends on the actual temp at night it should be around 70 to 80 i turn my light off and use a heat pad

Ball pythons really don't like bright white lighting, a lot of times it can stress them out, along with other nocturnal reptiles like leopard geckos.

Its actually a light for snakes or reptiles, its more yellow/orange, not bright white.

They really don't need extra light.

You don't need the extra light. As long as the sunlight is coming into the room it's fine. And you wouldn't want it in direct sunlight so it is good that it's not.
