Visionarium vs 20 Gallon Long Aquarium?

So right now I have my 2 month old ball python in a 17 quart Sterilite Container, I cant keep the humidity down very well without sacrificing heat. Also I think he would be happer in a aquarium or visionarium because I could put more sticks and cover and a better substrate down. I need opinions on this.

try drilling a few small holes near the lid of the tub or use a soldering iron to puncture the plastic. i hear this helps. hopefully someone can confirm this!

Yes, walmart sells a soldering iron for around $9 in the hardware section. This is a great investment. It makes clean good looking holes. Just add holes a little at a time and let in stabilize in between until you have the perfect amount of humidity. Good luck.

Re: Visionarium vs 20 Gallon Long Aquarium?

i have a visionarium for the snake im gonna be getting. aquariums are really designed for fish, not snakes. the visionarium has a little bit of screen on its top but that can be easily covered with aluminum foil. it also has front sliding doors and theres also a special lock that fits on those sliding doors. i have a lock on mine. also, with both the visionarium and the fish tank you'd have to cover up 3 sides with something, could be a background or something else. i have a terrarium background covering mine.
good luck with whichever you choose.
