What am I doing wrong?
Ok, So I am going to rant a bit.
First I am looking for a pinstripe male ball python, simple enough right?
So I am going through fauna, kingsnake and here. I have emailed several people asking the same question (or replying to an add). I want to know weight, what they are eating and how much they want with shipping. It SHOULD be easy right???? When they have listed 2 or more pins I use the plural (them).
So far I have gotten back a few very short emails saying "I have only one pin". So OK what about the rest of the information on the one you DO have???? What should I say in my emails to point out that if they only have one ball to give me his information so I don't have to keep playing email tag??? GRRRR I have seen some killer pins and there are a few that I would like to have but it is like pulling teeth to get information on them. So what am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your help and for letting me vent

Re: What am I doing wrong?
I just went through that same mess. I won't name anyone, but a breeder had two snakes I wanted, called him twice and had to interrogate him for any info. Said he would send me a couple pics and never got them, and now won't answer emails. Not a good way to do business is it?

Re: What am I doing wrong?
This is what i send when emailing a seller:
Hi, I was wondering if you still have "x animal" available. If so, what is his/her current weight? Does he/she eat rats/mice/other? And what is shipping to "insert your zipcode"? Thanks, Your Name and phone #
If a seller doesn't respond to me at all I assume the snake is sold, if i get a partial answer i respond with something like " Thanks for the information. Could you also "insert unanswered questions" Thanks, Your Name and Phone #.
Also, always use what they say is the best way to contact them. And a phone call can generally get your questions answered.
As a side note I just got a male proven breeder from Lynn at Boas and Balls. I am very happy with the quality of the Pin, and of the business. They currently have 2 male hatchlings for sale.
