How to lower the humidity but keep the temp the same?

My humidty is so high that the thermometer just says HI and doesnt read a number. Temp is 82 on one side and 85 on the other. Water is on the cooler side.

Get a soldering iron and add holes to the tub alittle at a time, until the humidity is in acceptable range

I see you use plastic tubs too, which do you find to work better to heat one side of the tub? Flexwatt or Heat Pads, I have neither yet but my dad never turns on the AC so the house is usually 80 to 90 degrees. The humidity in the house is usually fairly high too. How long can I keep him with high humidity?

I also plan to feed him in a few days, will he swallow his food fine without a heat gradient?

    Where do you live?

I use flexxwatt back heat for my tall rack, and belly heat for the big girls
You'll see a big difference once you get some holes in your tub, yes he will eat without the heat

Its an acu-rite combo humidistat and thermometer in one, its digital. Now my ball is only 2 months old and they say under 500g you should feed it on a 5 day cycle? Well I got him yesterday and the last day the breeder fed him was sunday. When should I feed him?

The humidity in my house is constantly at 55 so I think I would be better off with a glass aquarium.
